Family History

No one in the Dale family tree has a more interesting story or was more influential than Grandpa Dale.
In the 1920's, the Ku Klux Klan had a stranglehold on every aspect of life in Indiana.  The KKK controlled everything -- government, the courts, the police, even churches.  George R. Dale,  the publisher of a dinky newspaper, was possibly the most influential individual in destroying the power of the KKK.  Along the way, he needed pardons from both the President and Governor to stay out of prison.

Grandpa certainly would have been proud of his son. Grandma threw a party when Dad went off to fight in World War II. Click here for video and photos. He was Honorably Discharged in November, 1945. Jack Dale Goes to War
